The Educational Network for West and Central Africa (ERNWACA) proceeded July 16, 2009 in Abidjan, Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, to the formal launching ceremony of the Journal of Educational Research in Africa « JERA » under the active patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Ibrahim Cissé.

From 30 June to 2 July 2009, the National Coordinator, Dr. Samuel Mawete took part in the company of Dr. Moses Balong, Lead Researcher and recipient of ERNWACA Grants Program, 2009 edition to the Regional Training Workshop on research methodology and scholarly writing held in Accra (GHANA) .
