ICT-Based Curriculum of in kindergartens and primary schools in Cameroon

Friday 5 February 2010

The curricula of schools and kindergartens emphasize the educational vision that is expressed in three main purposes:

• Allow the student to really live his/her life from childhood, and serve as a unique personality

• Allow the socialization of students through collaborative work and thereby contribute to social welfare

• Prepare students for further studies and lifelong learning

To promote the development of potentials in students from primary school and kindergarten as individuals and members of the society, it is important for teachers to integrate a number of educational resources in their teaching. Guided by the needs of each student, the philosophy and the program content, the use of tools and resources that can promote learning, the teacher can design experiments that would achieve the main goals pursued in the programs of primary and kindergarten education. The Information Communication and Technologies provide teachers and students the resources and educational tools that expand their learning opportunities.
