Regional integration is the focus of The 2nd ICT Africa Summit in Tshwane
The 2nd ICT Africa Summit will be held in Tshwane (formerly known as Pretoria) – South Africa, 24 – 26 October 2011 at the CSIR International Convention Centre
After the successful 2010 summit in Cape Town was attended by representatives from more than 12 African countries and international guests, the 2nd ICT Africa Summit will continue to focus on regional integration through ICT.

Burkina Faso: CFA 11.5 billion from the World Bank for the development of ICT infrastructure

APA-Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso) The World Bank has approved a grant of 46 billion CFA francs to build Information and Communication infrastructure for access to better ICT services in three African countries, including Burkina Faso, APA learned from the WorldBank Office in Ouagadougou.
Burkina Faso will receive 11.5 billion CFA francs, while the other two countries, Guinea and Gambia, respectively, will receive grants of 17 and 17.5 billion CFA francs.

The integration of ICTs in education will soon be effective in Senegal. The Ministry of Education has just welcomed its first E-learning specialists. They received on Wednesday their diplomas . This took place on the occasion of the first conference organized by the Swiss Cooperation in E-learning (CoseLearn), partner of the Ministry of Education.
