The African Union (AU) in Addis Ababa said on Tuesday it would convene an extraordinary session of Ministers of the AU for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) on Thursday.
The ministerial conference is preparing the AU summit to be held in 2010 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopian capital. The theme of the 2010 Summit will be “ICTs in Africa: Challenges and Prospects for Development”, according to a press release from the pan-African body.
