Computer and ICT skills are paramount in all profesional activities. With this in mind, the World Summit on Information Society (WSIS) was held in Tunis in November 2005, recommending the integration of ICTs in education and health systems.
The Ministry of Post and Information Communication and Technologies in order to achieve these goals, decided to develop the National Strategic Plan for the implementation of this project called "E-education in Côte d’Ivoire ".
Hence, a validation seminar for this project, which opened on November 17 in Grand-Bassam. This two-day seminar will provide the opportunity for reflection, to set the national policy and the conditions for successful implementation of E-Learning in Côte d’Ivoire.
This plan aims to introduce computers in schools, to allow the networking of training and education institutions, connecting them to the internet, thus allowing collaborative work and ensuring the digital management of the school.
